Looking for great yard sale finds? Want an opportunity to clean out the attic and unload some of those unwanted items? Is your organization looking for a great fundraising opportunity? Then Saturday, May 9 is a date to mark on the calendar.
The Hinesburg Business and Professional Association (HBPA) will sponsor the 19th annual Hinesburg town-wide yard sale on Saturday, May 9 from 8am to 1pm at the fire station.
The HBPA offers vendor spaces and tables for anyone wishing to rent sale space at the fire station for $10, and encourages residents to hold sales at their homes or businesses on the same day. To reserve your vendor space contact David Palmer at Palmer Insurance, (802) 482-5678 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
As in years past, the HBPA will provide complimentary maps advertising all yard sale locations in town. Participants who wish to be included on the map are asked to email Jeannie Albertson at email@example.com or telephone her at (802) 482-2923 prior to May 4.
In addition to the yard sale, a combined prize and 50/50 raffle will take place. Tickets may be purchased from any member of the HBPA, at the fire station on the day of the sale, at Papa Nick’s restaurant, or at Palmer Insurance, all in Hinesburg. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. HBPA is still looking for volunteers to solicit prizes.
This event has been incredibly successful for the past 18 years, and HBPA expects even more bargain hunters this year. Take advantage of this community event and help put Hinesburg on the map!
