Ginny Joyner, a well-known Vermont watercolor artist and illustrator, will exhibit her work at Rustic Roots in Shelburne for the spring season. Joyner paints in watercolor with both detailed and loose styles. Subjects vary from corks, crocodiles, and cheese to thistles, teapots, and tulips.
Joyner graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in 1986 and is a freelance illustrator and watercolor teacher in Colchester. She is a signature member of the Vermont Watercolor Society.
A variety of Joyner’s work, including framed original paintings and unframed archival prints and greeting cards, will be featured at Rustic Roots from now until May 28 and is available for purchase through the restaurant.
A Tea & Brush Party with light refreshments will be held on Wednesday, May 24, from 5 to 7pm.
