Dear Editor ~

The Hinesburg Girl Scout Troop 30463 would like to thank the community in helping them reach their troop goal of selling 10,000 boxes of cookies! During our cookie season this year, we sold 10,489 boxes! In addition to the individual sales that all 46 girls took part in, we were fortunate to have successful local cookie booths at Lantman’s Market, Jiffy Mart and Kinney Drugs. Money earned from cookie sales allowed us to do many fun things this year. A few highlights included the Daisies visiting the Hinesburg Police Station, the Brownies having a fun paint night, the Juniors spending an overnight at the Montshire Museum, and the Cadettes camping at Twin Hills in Richmond. In addition–because of the successful cookie sales–we were able to donate many boxes of cookies to ANEW Place in Burlington, the Hinesburg Police Department, the Hinesburg Food Shelf, and the Vermont Children’s Hospital. Thanks again for supporting your local Girl Scout troop!
