Citizen Dispute – On Tuesday, July 18, officers responded to the village area for a reported dispute between two women.  It involved the mother of the other woman’s boyfriend and was a verbal altercation regarding the man moving out.  No further law enforcement action was necessary.

Family Dispute – On Tuesday July 18, officers were dispatched to Hayden Hill Road due to a report of a woman trying to leave in her boyfriend’s car without her boyfriend’s permission.  The issue was resolved with the boyfriend driving the woman to Burlington.

Warrant Arrest – On Wednesday, July 19, an officer made a traffic stop on Silver Street for speeding.  A check showed the driver was Alfred Mattison, 49, from Ticonderoga, NY and there was a $15,000 warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and transported to the Chittenden County Correctional Center.

DUI Crash – On Saturday, July 22, an officer responded to a vehicle reported in a ditch off Buck Hill Road. The driver was identified as Linda Dreaney, 68, from Starksboro and police allege she was driving under the influence.  After field sobriety tests, she was taken to the station for processing.  She was released on a citation to appear.
