So. Burlington police seek Shelburne man who violated abuse prevention order

South Burlington Police are searching for a Shelburne man wanted for violating a relief from abuse order. At 11 p.m. Monday, police responded to a report of a disturbance at a house on Dorset Street in South Burlington. Upon arriving, police learned that Charles “Eric” Connelly, 37, of Shelburne, had violated a Final Relief from Abuse Order, which prohibited him from being on the property and within 300 feet of the victim.

Police said Connelly had fled the scene prior to their arrival and officers have been unable to locate him since. If anyone has information about this incident, or Connelly’s whereabouts, please contact Officer Fay at the South Burlington Police Department at 846-4635.
