Six local mens soccer players are busy roaming the pitch for Vermont college teams this fall.

Zack Evans, Nolan Jimmo, and Luke Magnier – all from Shelburne – are busy playing for the University of Vermont. Staige Davis (Shelburne) and Allesandro Delia (Charlotte) are both playing for Norwich University, and Richard Baccei (Shelburne) plays at St. Michael’s College.

Evans, a senior, has appeared in three games this season for UVM (4-3). Jimmo, who is a freshman and midfielder, has played in four games so far. Magnier, who played club soccer with Jimmo, also plays midfield.

Davis is already making an impact at Norwich (2-3-1) as a freshman, scoring two goals and adding an assist in six appearances. Davis, who played at Green Mountain Valley School in high school, has already earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week honors this season.

Delia, a sophomore from Charlotte, also plays for the Cadets and has seen action in five games this season.

Baccei, a junior transfer, has played in four games for the 1-2-1 Purple Knights and has one assist so far.
