Shelburne Police seek public’s help to identify suspects in car break-in and credit-card theft

Shelburne Police are asking the public for help in identifying three men believed involved in attempting to use stolen credit cards at a Hinesburg grocery store last Friday.

Shelburne Police said between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Oct. 13 a locked car at Shelburne Pond Access was broken into and items were stolen. At about 1 p.m., police said, several attempts were made at Lantman’s Market in Hinesburg to use credit cards stolen from that vehicle.

Police are sharing images from store surveillance video showing three men at the time of the transactions. Anyone with information about the theft or the subjects is asked to contact Shelburne Police Officer Brian Fox at 985-8051 or Champlain Valley Crimestoppers at 864-6666.
