Vermonters encouraged to suggest teachers for state ‘Teacher Feature’ on social media

The Vermont Agency of Education has revived a social media program meant to highlight individual teachers from around the state.

The “Teacher Feature,” as it’s called, began on social media in 2011 to spotlight Vermont teachers doing good things in their school communities.

Anyone can nominate educators who might be deserving of the special nod, the agency said in its announcement.

To suggest a teacher for the honor, contact Haley Jones at the Agency of Education:

479-1111 or email to haley.jones@vermont.gov. Messages should describe the remarkable teacher and include a photo. The submission and photo may be shared on the agency’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts.
