A chimney fire at a home on Greenbush Road in Charlotte brought out Fire and Rescue crews from Charlotte, Shelburne and Ferrisburgh in the early hours of Jan. 27. The Shelburne department arrived with its new Quint truck for its first call. The rig’s long reach combined with a new chimney scrubber device helped get the job done quickly and safely, fire officials said. No one was injured.
