Tractor Supply fundraiser for Future Farmers of America

Tractor Supply Company stores in Vermont are collecting donations during National Future Farmers of America Week to support grants for FFA chapters in the community.

Through Sunday, customers may can donate $1 or more at the checkout or online at tractorsupply.com. The company has a retail store at 3708 Shelburne Road in Shelburne.

Donations will fund the national Grants for Growing program, supporting FFA chapters in Vermont doing unique and sustainable agricultural projects.

Christi Korzekwa, senior vice president of marketing at Tractor Supply said efforts like this help the company invest in both the next generation of agricultural leaders and the future of agricultural education.
Since its start in 2016, Grants for Growing has raised more than $1.4 million for the National future farmers organization.

Grants will be awarded to winning local chapters in the spring with a minimum amount $500 up to $5,000. All donations remain within the state in which they were raised. More information: ffa.org/grantsforgrowing.
