Public information should be disclosed to the public — Ted Cohen

I am trying to figure out which planet the officials – so-called – in town hall come from.

In a recent story, it said: “Neither Grossman nor Marshall would say how exactly how much Grossman is being paid.”

They were refusing to disclose how much the new assistant town manager is being paid.

This is public information. Town officials are required by law to publish it. The people in town hall are paid with – news flash – taxpayer money.

Did they just come out from under a rock? Their alleged lack of familiarity with the taxpayers’ right to know is mind-boggling.
