Hinesburg Police Log

April 16
5:10 a.m. An officer responded to Vermont Route 116 in Starksboro to check for a runaway juvenile. The person was not found.
12:07 p.m. An officer checked on a residential burglar alarm on Firefly Lane. No problems found.
1:44 p.m. An officer assisted Hinesburg First Response with a medical call.
3:10 p.m. An officer responded to a home on Texas Hill Road to make a welfare check requested by a company attempting to deliver propane. Nothing unusual was found.
6:01 p.m. Police went to a home on Birchwood Drive for a welfare check. The person was at home and found to be okay.

April 17
5:55 a.m. An officer responded to the intersection of Charlotte and Baldwin roads for a disabled vehicle. The owner was contacted and a tow truck was called.
10:34 a.m. An officer responded to Ballards Corner for an alarm. Nothing was found.
5:20 p.m. An officer went to a home on Hillview Terrace to assist probation and parole in locating a person.
5:45 p.m. Officers responded to a home on Hawk Lane to assist locating a person who left the residence.

April 18
1:32 p.m. Police did a VIN inspection at the station.
10:38 p.m. Officers responded to a home on Vermont Route 116 for a welfare check called in by a woman’s father.  Upon arrival, the woman’s mother was picking her up and it was determined to be a verbal altercation.

April 19
9:50 a.m. Police checked out what turned out to be an accidental 911 call from a business in the village
2:40 p.m. An officer conducted a VIN inspection at a home on Buck Hill Road West.
8:12 p.m. Officers assisted Hinesburg First Response with a medical call on Green Street.
10:08 p.m. Officers assisted Hinesburg First Response with a medical call on Hemlock Hill Road.

April 20
3:45 p.m. An officer took fingerprints for a local resident.
April 21
2:45 a.m. An officer checked on a burglar alarm at a business in the village
3:09 p.m. An officer took fingerprints for local resident.
7:33 p.m.  Police checked out a report of gunshots north of the village but did not locate anyone involved.
9:58 p.m.  Officers responded to a disturbance on Silver Street that was determined to be a verbal altercation; one person was given a ride to another residence.
10:11 p.m.  Police checked out a report of a possible vehicle off the road on Sherman Hollow Road but they did not find anything.
11:10 p.m. An officer stopped a juvenile riding a dirt bike on North Road and warned the youngster to not ride the vehicle in the road.
