May 20
1:42 a.m. An officer responded to a one-vehicle crash on Mechanicsville Road. The driver had fallen asleep and there were no injuries.
4:24 p.m. An officer checked on a report of a loose dog on Vermont Route 116 in the village but could not find the dog.
6:05 p.m. An officer did a vehicle VIN verification on Shadow Lane.
6:13 p.m. An officer went to an address on Richmond Road to do a welfare check requested by the Vermont State Police.
8:17 p.m. An officer checked on a report of furniture dumped along the road on Texas Hill and Bishop roads.

May 21
5:46 a.m. An officer responded to Hollow Road for a residential burglar alarm. No problem was found.
9:09 a.m. An individual reported threatening text messages he and other members of his family have received. Police are investigating.
3 p.m. Williston Police asked for assistance in serving a citation on a resident on Silver Street.

May 22
10:45 a.m. Police were called to Piette Meadow Road to check out a person appearing passed out in a vehicle. The officer found the individual in the vehicle with keys in the ignition. Ryan Orvis, 39 years old from South Burlington, was determined to be under the influence and was taken to the station. Police asked for help from a drug recognition expert before charging Orvis with driving under the influence of drugs.

May 23
7:37 a.m. An officer assisted Williston Police with serving a court citation.
9:30 a.m. Officers responded to Palmer Road for a reported family fight. It was determined that to only be a verbal altercation. An officer stood by while a woman gathered belongings and left the residence with a friend.
10:59 a.m. Two people came into the office to report a problem with a motorist when they were crossing the street at Vermont Route 116 and Commerce Street.
1:30 p.m. A resident from Charlotte Road reported a theft of property. Police are investigating.
3:40 p.m. An officer assisted Hinesburg First Response with a medical call on Charlotte Road.
4:36 p.m. An officer responded to a three-car accident on Vermont Route 116 north of the village. There were no injuries.
5:52 p.m. Police checked out a report of a dirt bike operating on the roads at Mountain View Mobile Home Park. Nothing was found.
9:02 p.m. Officers assisted Hinesburg First Response with a medical call on Vermont Route 116 near the Starksboro town line.

May 24
1 p.m. An officer checked on a vehicle at a vacant residence on Charlotte Road. The vehicle belonged to a contractor working at the property.
11:03 p.m. An officer responded to a 911 hang-up at a home on Vermont Route 116 south of the village. No problem was found.
3:50 p.m. An officer responded to Oscars Way to assist Hinesburg First Response with a medical call.
10:20 p.m. An officer on patrol came across a disabled vehicle on Richmond Road. He waited until the vehicle was moved.

May 25
10 a.m. An officer conducted a VIN verification at a business in the village.
3:05 p.m. An officer responded to Vermont Route 116 and Commerce Street for a disabled vehicle, which was pushed off the roadway into a parking spot.

May 26
3:07 a.m. An officer was called out for a burglar alarm at a business in the village. It was determined to be an employee error.
6:06 a.m. False burglar alarm at a business in the village.
9:05 a.m. False alarm at CVU High School.
11:53 a.m. An officer went to Magee Hill Road for a VIN verification.
12:33 p.m. An officer checked out several reports of items stolen from vehicles on Birchwood Drive.
7:46 p.m. A patrol officer stopped a vehicle being operated in an erratic manner on Mechanicsville Road. The driver, Kathy Aube, 60 years old of Hinesburg, was charged with driving under the influence. She was taken to the station, issued a court citation, and released.

May 27
10:42 a.m. An officer checked on two people sleeping in a car on Hayden Hill Road. Everything was okay.
12:18 p.m. Neighbors on Beecher Hill Road were allegedly fighting. Officers that responded didn’t find anything, but contacted them to make sure everything was okay.
9:58 pm. A village business alarm went off; officers found no problems.

May 28
8:51 a.m. A dog was loose on Magee Hill Road.
3:47 p.m. A concerned parent called police about their daughter. Police contacted the school counselor.

May 29
3:43 p.m. Hinesburg Fire and First Response officers responded to Vermont Route 116 and Mechanicsville Road for a two-vehicle crash. There were no injuries.

May 30
1:06 p.m. An officer helped traffic move along on Vermont Route 116 in St. George because of a disabled car on a blind curve.
3:00 p.m. Someone reported an animal problem on North Road.
9:51 p.m. Officers assisted Probation and Parole with a person on Green Street.
11:09 p.m. There was a noise disturbance reported on Green Street. Officers determined that it was mother and son, there was no physical altercation.
11:15 p.m. Someone was afraid to go into their house, so an officer escorted them home and checked it out.

May 31
10:39 a.m. An officer responded to a village residence for a report of suspicious circumstances.
3:17 p.m. A bus at CVU backed into a car. Police mediated the situation.
3:19 p.m. Officers responded to a dog running in traffic on Silver Street.
7:01 p.m. An officer responded to Richmond Road to assist Hinesburg First Response with a medical call.
8:49 p.m. An officer responded to Hillview Terrace to assist Hinesburg Fire Department with an unpermitted fire.

June 1
8:28 a.m. An employee at a store in the village accidently set off the alarm. Police helped turn it off.
7:03 p.m. Someone damaged a car on Wile Street. Police took a report.
7:38 p.m. Officers responded to Walts Way for a suspicious vehicle.

June 2
4:39 p.m. Two miniature horses were in the road on South West Shore Road. An officer found the horses and contacted the owners.
5:25 p.m. An officer responded a residential burglar alarm on Piette Road.
