‘Stuff-the-Truck’ helps Habitat for Humanity

On Saturday, Aug. 18, Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity ReStore will have a truck at the Charlotte Congregational Church to collect gently used household items.

Organizers are seeking household items such as furniture, area rugs, lamps, small appliances, tools, etc. They specifically ask to not bring mattresses, baby gear and large CRT televisions.

Bring donations to the church at 403 Churchill Rd. between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Donors will receive a receipt for tax purposes.

For additional information about items to donate, visit online at vermonthabitat.org/donate-items-to-the-restore/. Contact organizer: Jim Hyde at james.hyde@tufts.edu or 425-5263.
