Aug. 1
12:16 p.m. An officer responded to Charlotte Road to assist with four horses in the road.
3:01 p.m. A resident came in to report a multiple vehicle crash that occurred on Shelburne Falls Road. There were no injuries.

Aug. 2
11:21 a.m. An officer responded to Vermont Route 116 for a report of an erratic driver. The vehicle was stopped and police determined that the driver was not impaired.

Aug. 3
8:25 a.m. Police received a call from an individual in South Burlington who had found a a driver’s license belonging to a Hinesburg resident. Police asked the caller to drop the license at South Burlington Police Department and the owner of the license was contacted.
12:45 p.m. An officer did a welfare check on a resident at Kellys Field and found no problem.
12:45 p.m. An officer assisted with someone locked out of their vehicle at a business in the village.

Aug. 4
8:37 a.m. An officer responded to hit and run involving property damage on Vermont Route 116 near Billings Farm Road. There were no injuries.
1:40 p.m. An officer checked out a residential alarm on Richmond Road and found no problem.
2:17 p.m. Officers responded to Hollow Road for a reported family fight. Police were told one individual had made statements regarding “suicide by cop.” That individual left the home on a dirt bike, then got into a pickup which police stopped on Vermont Route 116. Multiple police departments responded to assist and the man was released from the station.

Aug. 5
8:16 a.m. An officer responded to North Road to assist Hinesburg First Response with a medical call.
12:13 p.m. An officer responded to a business burglar alarm in the village. No problem was found.
5:06 p.m. A lost dog was turned into the department. Owner claimed the dog later in the day.
5:48 p.m. An officer checked out a report of suspicious substances at Triple L Mobile Home Park.

Aug. 6
11:45 a.m. An officer served a subpoena for an agency assist for Newport Police Department.
1:24 p.m. An officer responded to Vermont Route 116 and Tyler Bridge Road for a two-vehicle crash with no injuries.
4:02 p.m. A business owner reported finding alcohol bottles behind his building.
7:11 p.m. An officer responded to Sickman Hill to assist Hinesburg First Response with a medical call.
8:08 p.m. An officer assisted a motorist in the village who was locked out of their vehicle.

Aug. 7
11:06 a.m. An officer responded to Jourdan Street at assist Hinesburg First Response with a medical call.
1:55 p.m. An officer responded to Partridge Hill Road to assist with a verbal dispute between a homeowner and a contractor.

Aug. 9
8:41 a.m. An officer helped a motorist on North Road who was locked out of their vehicle.
11:58 a.m. An officer took fingerprints for a resident.
2:52 p.m. An officer conducted a VIN verification at the office.
3:53 p.m. Officers assisted Hinesburg First Response with a medical call on Kellys Field Road.
5:25 p.m. An officer responded to Vermont Route 116 and Farmall Drive for a two-vehicle crash with no injuries.

Aug. 10
2:28 p.m. An officer assisted Hinesburg First Response with a medical call on Haystack Road.
3:55 p.m. Officers assisted Hinesburg First Response with a medical call on Charlotte Road.
7:54 p.m. An officer met with a resident regarding a neighbor dispute.
8:07 p.m. An officer attempted to serve a no trespass order for South Burlington Police Department.

Aug. 11
9:30 a.m. An officer did a welfare check for a resident on Swamp Road.
2:27 p.m. An officer assisted Hinesburg First Response with a medical call on Commerce Street.
4:54 p.m. Officers assisted Hinesburg First Response with a medical call on Kellys Field Road.
5:33 p.m. Officers went to North Road and Lincoln Hill to check out a report of a suspicious truck with traffic cones. The vehicle was gone when they arrived.
9:09 p.m. An officer went to Richmond Road and Enos Road to investigate a report of gunshots fired and determined it was fireworks.
