James and Carol Bouyea of Shelburne are pleased to announce the recent marriage of their daughter, Christine Bouyea, to Sanjiv Gajiwala, son of Hema Gajiwala and the late Pankaj Gajiwala of Downers Grove, Ill. on June 23, 2018.
The ceremony and subsequent celebration were held at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. Jill Thompson, Christine’s sister, and Nikhil Tilwalli, Sanjiv’s oldest friend, stood by their sides as matron of honor and best man, respectively. Ellie Thompson, niece of the bride, was the flower girl; Spencer Thompson and Niam Jones, nephews of the bride and groom, served as ring bearers. Dr. Sujay Kapadia, a close friend of the bride and groom, officiated.
A native Vermonter, Christine is currently a group account director at Havas, a multinational advertising agency. She is a graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and she earned a master’s degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in New York.
Sanjiv is currently senior vice president of marketing for the Mike’s Hard Lemonade Company based in Chicago, Ill. A graduate of George Washington University in Washington, D.C., Sanjiv earned a master’s in business administration from Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif.
Christine and Sanjiv will reside in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago with their beloved dog, Chicken.
