Rep. Bill Lippert has been a courageous advocate

To the Editor:

I am writing to express my strong support for Bill Lippert in his bid to win re-election as our representative in Montpelier. Bill has been a courageous advocate in Montpelier for increasing access to affordable health care for all, gun safety policy aimed at assuring that our children can grow up and be educated without fear of the violence that we see all around us, and equal rights for every Vermonter.

I am proud to have him representing me. He has proven time and again that he listens well, thinks creatively, and reasons his way through complex and often divisive issues. He stands in stark contrast to what we are bombarded with on a daily basis from the craziness in Washington.

I want someone representing me who is willing to take on the challenges that we face – creating and sustaining sound energy policy, environmental stewardship aimed at cleaning up the waters of our great lake and protecting open land, and increasing access to affordable, high-quality health care (especially in the face of Trump’s attempts to dismantle any gains we have made in this area).

Vote for intelligence, common sense, and progressive thinking. Vote for Bill Lippert for state representative.

    Hi Howdy!
Nice to meet you the other day! I regret not talking politics along with the chickens!
I do know that Mr. Lippert is your former spouse, so I dont see this as terribly impartial.
I plan on working hard for Hinesburg, and will not give up or give in whether or not I am elected this term or next term. I plan to not deprive Hinesburg or the state of anything that is needed, just not to go directly to taxpayers, and manage state money more wisely.
As you know I keep an organic chicken flock, and as such, feel managing environment and the earth is important and legislatively plan on promoting responsible environmental stewardship as well.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions (and that goes for anyone)
If I am unsuccessful at being elected this term, my next campaign starts in January.
Hinesburg is drowning in taxes and due to legislative choices. Something has to change.
