School board wants input on budget

The Champlain Valley School District is inviting voters to its budget forum, which is set to kick off this year’s budget process. Voters will be asked about what they value most in the school district and what their priorities are.

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Oct. 30 at Champlain Valley High School in room 160, where school board meetings are typically held. The district’s Chief Operating Officer Jeanne Jensen will give a presentation on the budget priorities this year and an overview of the process, which will be followed by a questions and answers session.

Then voters will break into groups to get “State of the Schools” reports from district school principals.
