Burlington woman cited for speeding on U.S. 7 in Charlotte

A Burlington woman was charged with excessive speed after state police stopped her on U.S. 7 in Charlotte last week.

According to Trooper Bradley Miller, Maxine E. Kravitz, 28, of Burlington was traveling on Route 7 near Nursery Lane around 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 22.

Police measured her speed at 86 mph in a stretch posted with a 50 mph speed limit, according to Miller’s news release. She was stopped and issued a citation to appear in court on Dec. 11, police said.
