Rice Memorial High School in South Burlington will host an open house on Sunday, from 1-3 p.m, for middle school and transfer students.
The Catholic school says students of all faiths attend Rice, with approximately 60 percent of the student body identifying as Catholic. Rice highlights its role in preparing students for college with honors and AP classes. School officials said 92 percent of the class of 2018 went on to higher education.
The school also emphasizes community service, expecting graduates to have done more than 80 hours of service by graduation.
Tuition assistance is available and about 40 percent of Rice students qualify for tuition help.
Families may register for the open house online at rmhsvt.org/openhouse. Registration enters attendees into a raffle with prizes such as a $500 tuition voucher and tickets for the school’s annual student variety show Stunt Nite.
