The United Church of Hinesburg holds its annual Holiday Bazaar Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This more than 60-year-old tradition that kicks off the holiday season gets better every year with Grandmother’s Attic, a jewelry corner, and an arts and crafts collection.
Local cooks will supply the homemade baked tables with selections from baked beans, pickles and breads to pies, cookies and fudge. Back again is the traditional “brown bobbies” table.
Lunch will be served between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. featuring homemade soups and sandwiches. Each order includes a free dessert. Free coffee is served throughout the day.
Outside, a local wreath maker will have a variety of Christmas wreaths for sale in the parking lot.
The bazaar is held at the Osborne Parish Hall next to the church on Route 116 in Hinesburg village.
