Over 100 people learned how to perform CPR at the Hinesburg Fire Station Saturday. The event was held because CPR saved Katie Charbonneau’s life after a cardiac arrest in October. Her husband, fire Captain Lucas Charbonneau, was there to give her CPR at the scene before first responders got to their house. His quick thinking and knowledge of CPR is credited for saving her life.
