Allstate Insurance Company announced that Kris Luce of Isle la Motte, agency owner in Essex Junction, has partnered with fellow Allstate agency owner Walter Hausermann of Hinesburg to form the Hausermann & Luce Allstate Agency on Williston Road in South Burlington.

“I am very excited about starting this next chapter with Allstate,” said Luce. “Our team in Essex Junction including my partner, Frances, has helped me get my first agency off the ground. I couldn’t have been as successful without their support, as well as the support of my business partner Walter and the other folks we work with in both offices. I look forward to continuing to grow with my team and to be able to provide customers with an outstanding level of service and protection.”

Luce opened his first Allstate agency in 2017 but started his career with the company in 1996. It was during his time, working in claims, that he built a relationship with Hausermann. During his transition to the agency force, Hausermann continued to mentor Luce and helped him navigate the challenges of becoming a new agency owner.

Hausermann became an Allstate agent in 1985. Over the course of his 34-year career, he built a strong reputation in Chittenden County and beyond. As he approached his 35th year with Allstate, he wanted to take a step back from the agency towards his goal of retirement.

“I am honored to pass on our book of business to Kris Luce and his staff,” Hausermann said. “Over the years, I saw how dedicated Kris is to his customers, how considerate he is and the level of customer service he and his team provides. I knew he would be a great fit for a partnership, and I look forward to the agency’s growth in this next chapter.”

The Hausermann & Luce Allstate agency offers auto, property, life, annuities and financial services products as well as voluntary workplace benefit packages.
